Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Deputy Manager - Talent Acquisition and Generalist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition and a strong understanding of generalist HR functions. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive key HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Generalist HR Responsibilities
- Support HR operations, including employee lifecycle management (onboarding, probation, confirmation, and exit processes).
- Assist in designing and implementing HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
- Address employee queries regarding benefits, policies, and other HR-related matters.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback sessions.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition and generalist HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, HR systems, and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in managing HR metrics and preparing reports for management review.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with HR software like SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
