Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Online Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization's
SharePoint Online environment. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint, with
a strong focus on SharePoint Online, part of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role involves working closely with various
departments to ensure that SharePoint meets the business’s collaboration, content management, and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration: Manage and maintain sites, libraries, lists, site collections, sub-sites, and user permissions.
Implement content management policies and monitor system health.
User Management & Permissions: Control user access, manage SharePoint Groups, and support users with
features and permissions.
Collaboration & Content Management: Facilitate team collaboration, manage document libraries, workflows, and
content types, and enhance document findability with metadata and taxonomy.
Migration & Integration: Lead or support migration projects, integrate with Microsoft 365 tools, and ensure smooth
integration of third-party tools.
Security & Compliance: Implement security policies, monitor security logs, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Automation & Workflow Management: Create and manage workflows using Power Automate to enhance efficiency.
Support & Training: Provide user support, create documentation, and stay updated with Microsoft updates.
Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor performance and usage, generate reports, and optimize SharePoint performance.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of hands-on experience in administering and managing SharePoint Online.
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, etc.).
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, site hierarchy, and governance models.
Proficiency in SharePoint security, permission management, and compliance.
Job Description
Experience with Power Automate, and Power Apps for creating custom workflows and solutions.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation.
Familiarity with content management, document libraries, metadata, and taxonomy best practices.
Preferred:
Experience in customizing SharePoint sites using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) or JavaScript.
Knowledge of Azure AD, Azure Information Protection, and Microsoft Purview.
Strong understanding of governance and information architecture in SharePoint.
Ability to manage external sharing and extranet sites.
Good understanding of AI tools/Technologies to optimize/automate routine tasks.
