Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with strong expertise in GST, Tally, TDS, and bank reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Financial Transactions:

    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, accounts payable, and receivables.
    • Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy in accounting records.
  2. GST Compliance:

    • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) in compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Maintain and update GST records for both purchases and sales.
    • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission to avoid any penalties.
  3. Tally Management:

    • Maintain accounts in Tally ERP software, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
    • Generate financial statements, reports, and summaries for internal and external use.
  4. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):

    • Calculate and deduct TDS as per the Income Tax Act.
    • Prepare and file TDS returns (quarterly) and ensure timely payments to the government.
    • Maintain records of TDS and provide necessary support for tax audits.
  5. Bank Reconciliation:

    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure that discrepancies are resolved.
    • Coordinate with banks for resolving issues related to payments, deposits, and statements.
  6. Statutory Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations related to accounting, tax, and finance.
    • Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
  7. Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare regular financial reports and statements, such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audit and reference purposes.
  8. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate data exchange.
    • Assist senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of proven work experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, Tally ERP, TDS, and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
  • Good understanding of Indian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
  • Certification in Tally or GST is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting for international transactions.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or service industry is an advantage.
