Job Description:

Role Business Development Manager

Years of experience required Minimum work experience of 8-10 years in Sales, BD, Relationship Management, R and D with revenue and customer retention responsibility

Role summary

 Establish relationship with the existing client, understand their need and work with factory to develop product(s) based on the need of the customer.
 Revive Old and Engage existing customers to ensure the business growth

Detailed Responsibilities Relationship Management:

 Act as a face to build relationship with new customers and improve relationship with the existing customers.
 Understand  products, offers and work process
 Analyze data of all the existing customers, their buying pattern, their background, potential etc.
 Meet all potential customers one on one and Build relationship and engagement strategy with each customer
 Represent  vision and USP’s to the client
 Regularly Obtain and share feedback from the client
 Work closely with the R and D team at Pune mills and ensure product development as per the target
 Ensure minimum tonnage sales of the newly developed products
 Share market intelligence data with the CEO, VP, AGM-Sales and the Chairman
 Maintain the minimum customer visit vs conversion ratio and share the report.
 Work with the Market Research Analyst and Research and Development Team and collect and record various market intelligence data in the CRM and present reports to the CEO from time to time to keep abreast about the market (Competitive landscape, new products ideas, packaging, new products, competitor pricing etc.)

Reporting - Responsible for updating timely reports (daily, weekly, monthly). In order to do so:

 Ensure the data is filled in the CRM and share report on a real time basis:
 Share high potential customer list and feedback received to the product to the sales team/ AGM
 Ensure timely reply to the customer and send them the minutes of the meeting and the progress report on their feedback Process:
 Follow the set sales / CRM process of the organization
 Create SOP for the work

Qualification (Minimum)

 Graduate / PG in Paper and Pulp Technology from CPPRI, AIPIA, PFI, Central Paper and Pulp Research Institute, Indian Institute of Packaging, Relevant degree from IITs, and NITs

Additional Qualification

 PG/MBA in Business Development or Marketing Skills

 Excellent verbal and written communication over English and excellent command over Hindi. Other regional/local language will be an added advantage
 Must have Basic Excel knowledge, Advance Excel knowledge will be added advantage
 Extremely comfortable with using Internet and Email.
 Very diligent in follow-ups and persistent to ensure deal closures
 Ability to lead self at work independently without day-to-day supervision
 Extremely passionate about personal and company growth
