Job Description:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing strategic financial insights, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:

    • Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow, etc.).
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  2. Audit and Compliance:

    • Lead internal and external audit processes to ensure the company’s financial records comply with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
    • Advise on accounting policies and the interpretation of financial regulations.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights into budget variances and cost management strategies.
  4. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, financial performance, and areas for cost optimization.
    • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  5. Taxation:

    • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents (corporate tax, VAT, etc.).
    • Advise on tax planning, optimization strategies, and manage tax audits if necessary.
  6. Advisory Role:

    • Provide guidance on financial decisions, investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.
    • Support management in decision-making by providing financial insights and scenario planning.
  7. Team Leadership and Mentoring:

    • Manage and develop junior accounting staff, providing mentoring and leadership.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of financial operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) 
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing standards, and tax laws.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
