Job Description:
A head of quality control in fabrication is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulations. They also develop and implement quality control strategies, and manage the quality control team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control strategies
- Oversee quality management systems and processes
- Analyze quality data to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Provide strategic guidance on quality-related matters
- Manage the quality assurance team and resources
- Develop procedures for testing final products
- Make decisions regarding recall notices
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience in quality control in the fabrication industry
- Knowledge of international quality control standards
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
