Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
Candidates must be exceptionally organized, with self-initiative for identifying, recording, prioritizing,
and accomplishing a wide variety of tasks. Typical role responsibilities will be as follows:
• Adheres to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities; assists in the
reconciliation of customer accounts and provides updates to the Manager
• Is responsible for the daily customer transactions and provides excellent customer service to ensure
customer retention
• Timely closure of queries from customers; ensures critical issues are being escalated to management
• Assists in the preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation reports
• Provides accurate information and reports to Banks and network as per compliance and legal
norms.
• Supports the operations team for new product/program launches
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for any additional responsibilities/tasks, as may be assigned from time
to time, with a zeal for multi-tasking
• Manages confidential information with utmost care; and supports document management
General requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or in related field;
specialization/post-graduation in management stream, or relevant certifications, is preferred
• Typically, 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in banking operations with a fair understanding of
finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
• Proficiency in IMPS and UPI Product Reconciliation, including a comprehensive understanding of
their functionalities, processes, applications, and reconciliation tasks such as transaction matching,
discrepancy resolution, and settlement verification, will be an added advantage.
• Basic Proficiency with Tally and/or other accounting software and excellent Excel skills, and
preferably having excel/tally automation and integration skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact independently with
internal/external stakeholders, demonstrate a high level of maturity in dealing with situations
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical
deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Demonstrates customer centricity with willingness to support both internal and external customers;
and ability to maintain the high level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality
• Tech-Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. excel macros etc.)
• Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality
• He/she would be able to handle on-site work and make visits to onsite location
