Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead model development projects, ensuring adherence to policy and standards
- Review projects, guide analysts and managers, and provide analytical support
- Act as a subject matter expert in model development and management
- Support implementation of decision models and conduct UAT
- Manage the modeling life-cycle from data preparation to presenting results
- Ensure timely closure of IMR findings and process improvement
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results
- Apply agile approaches for project management and ensure model efficiency
- Adhere to compliance policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of analytics experience with a focus on credit risk modeling
- Strong knowledge of model development concepts across traditional and ML genres
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and other analytical tools; Python knowledge preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to comprehend complex business problems and provide feasible solutions
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving for success

Qualification Criteria
- 4-year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed University with concentration on marketing, finance, economics or other quantitative field such as statistics or engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with 5+ years of proven analytics experience with majority of the prior experience preferred in credit risk modeling area.
- Good knowledge of Model Development concepts across traditional and ML genres
- Ability to convince senior management of analysis being presented.
- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.
- Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools. Python knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success
