Job Description:
A human resources (HR) manager plans and manages a company's workforce, including hiring, training, and performance management. They also ensure that the company complies with employment laws and regulations. 
 
Responsibilities
    • Recruitment
      Oversee the hiring process, including creating job descriptions, interview schedules, and evaluation standards 
       
  • Training
    Design and implement training programs to improve employee skills and performance 
     
  • Performance management
    Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, and develop performance review processes 
     
  • Compensation
    Research compensation standards and set and review pay structures 
     
  • Benefits
    Plan and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, vacation, and expense reimbursement 
     
  • Compliance
    Ensure compliance with employment laws, including labor laws, equal employment opportunity laws, and workplace safety regulations 
     
  • Employee relations
    Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and other issues 
     
  • Succession planning
    Develop a succession plan to ensure the company has the right talent in the future 
     
HR managers may also advise other managers on human resources issues, such as sexual harassment and equal employment opportunity.
