Chief Manager – Investments Analyst- Mumbai

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY
 
The candidate will be part of the core equity investment team and reporting to the Head – Research. The job profile envisages understanding of
companies, analyzing businesses, preparing financial models, prepare research reports, presentation to the investments team and active
monitoring of covered stocks
 
Scan the equities market for investment opportunities primarily in BFSI sector including Banking, NBFC, insurance, capital market players.
Focus on
 Takeover coverage of existing stocks and sectors by the outgoing analyst
 Uncovered listed companies and upcoming listings in India - in BFSI sector 
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 Successful candidate would need to demonstrate strong skillsets in
Fundamental equity research, financial modelling, valuation analysis and
regularly appraise new and existing investments and identify potential
companies for investment and divestiture
 Close monitoring of stocks, developing and maintaining financial models,
providing actionable ideas to the fund management team
 Good knowledge and understanding of accounting practices, economics,
financial modelling on Excel, communication skills is necessary for the job
 Regular monitoring and report writing of covered stocks
