Job Description:

Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other relevant automation tools.
Automation Frameworks: Develop, enhance, and optimize test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and maintainability.
Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects using test management and defect tracking tools.
Integration with CI/CD: Integrate test scripts with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that test cases are aligned with the development and business requirements.
Performance Testing: Perform load and performance testing to ensure the application can handle the expected load and traffic.
Test Strategy & Planning: Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategies for automated testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Bug Tracking & Documentation: Document defects, test results, and other relevant information in defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and ensure timely resolution.
Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, trends, and best practices, and bring improvements to the testing process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (X+ years) as a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including Functional, Regression, and Integration testing.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Junit, or other testing frameworks.
Proficiency in Java programming language for writing automation scripts.
Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
Strong knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
