Job Description:
Key responsibilities may include:

Design and Engineering:
- Leading the design and engineering of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing ones, including equipment selection, power calculations, and system layout.
- Reviewing electrical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Overseeing the procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
- Leading the design and engineering of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing ones, including equipment selection, power calculations, and system layout.

Maintenance and Operations:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of electrical systems, monitoring performance parameters, and identifying potential issues.
- Leading troubleshooting efforts for electrical equipment failures, coordinating with maintenance teams to resolve complex problems.
- Implementing preventative maintenance plans for electrical systems to minimize downtime and optimize equipment lifespan.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of electrical systems, monitoring performance parameters, and identifying potential issues.

Technical Leadership:
- Mentoring and coaching junior electrical engineers on technical aspects of power plant operations.
- Providing technical expertise to other departments within the plant, including mechanical and control systems.
- Staying updated on industry trends and new technologies in power generation and electrical engineering.
- Mentoring and coaching junior electrical engineers on technical aspects of power plant operations.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensuring adherence to all electrical safety regulations and procedures within the plant
- Performing safety inspections and addressing safety concerns related to electrical systems
- Implementing and maintaining electrical documentation and reporting systems
- Ensuring adherence to all electrical safety regulations and procedures within the plant
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience in power plant operations and electrical systems design
- Strong understanding of electrical power generation principles, including AC/DC circuits, transformers, generators, and power distribution systems
- Proficiency in electrical design software and analysis tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership abilities to manage teams and projects effectively
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
