Job Description:
A Liaisoning Officer acts as a primary point of contact to facilitate communication and coordination between two or more organizations, departments, or agencies. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships, ensuring smooth project progression, preparing and submitting documents, staying updated on relevant regulations, and resolving conflicts. This role is critical for bridging gaps between internal and external stakeholders and ensuring cohesive operations.
Key responsibilities

Relationship management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as government officials, regulatory agencies, or community groups.

Project facilitation:Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and work with external bodies to secure approvals, licenses, or permits for projects.

Communication and coordination:Serve as the central point of contact, ensuring clear and consistent communication between parties and resolving any issues that arise.

Compliance and reporting:Ensure compliance with government regulations and policies, and prepare and submit necessary documentation on time.

Information management:Stay informed about changes in government policies, regulations, or legal requirements and maintain records of interactions and submissions.

Required skills and qualifications

Experience:Proven experience in a liaisoning or government relations role is highly valued.

Education:A bachelor's degree in a related field like Public Relations, Political Science, Law, or Business Administration is often preferred.
