Junior Accountant/Manager
Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant/Manager to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent numerical skills, and proficiency in accounting software. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Accounting & Bookkeeping • Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system. • Process invoices, payments, and receipts while ensuring accuracy. • Assist in accounts payable and receivable management. ✅ Bank & Financial Reconciliation • Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. • Assist in reconciling ledger accounts and financial statements. ✅ Taxation & Compliance • Support in preparing and filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. ✅ Payroll & Expense Management • Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements. • Maintain records of expenses and assist in budget tracking. ✅ Financial Reporting & Documentation • Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements. • Maintain and organize financial documents for audits and internal use. ✅ Administrative Support • Maintain and organize files, records, and documents (physical & digital). • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls. • Assist in preparing reports, letters, and office correspondence. ✅ Data Entry & Record Keeping • Enter and update data in company systems with accuracy. • Maintain office inventory and order supplies as needed. ✅ Assist in recruitment (job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews). ✅ Assist in onboarding & training of new employees. ✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ✔ Experience: 0-3 years of experience in accounting or finance. ✔ Skills: • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.(MUST) • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and tax regulations. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment. • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
