Key Responsibilities:
 Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand market share
within the transportation and logistics sector. 
 Team Management:
Lead and motivate a sales team, setting individual sales targets, coaching team members, and
monitoring performance to achieve overall revenue goals. 
 Business Development:
Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities to build a
robust pipeline of new business opportunities. 
 Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and
providing tailored logistics solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 
 Sales Presentations:
Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the company's transportation and
logistics capabilities and value proposition. 
 Travelling: Sales manager will be based in Raipur and this role requires frequent travel as an
essential part of business development and client engagement.
 Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with clients to secure profitable business deals while aligning
with company guidelines. 
 Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify potential
opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. 
 Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments including operations, customer service, and marketing to ensure
seamless execution of sales plans and client support. 
 Performance Reporting:
Track sales metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify areas of improvement and
inform strategic decision-making. 

Required Skills and Experience:
 Proven Sales Track Record:
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets within the transportation and logistics industry 
 Logistics Expertise:
Deep understanding of transportation modes (trucking, air freight, ocean freight), warehousing, and
supply chain management principles 
 Sales Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, providing effective coaching and guidance 
 Relationship Building:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships 
 Negotiation Skills:
Confidence in negotiating contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals 
 Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven sales decisions 
 CRM Proficiency:
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage sales pipeline and client
information 
Education and Background:
 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related
field 
 Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with proven
