Logistics Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Executive to oversee and coordinate our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing costs, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics & Supply Chain Management:

   • Plan and coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
   • Ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing logistics costs.
   • Manage inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.

2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination:

   • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
   • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
   • Implement best practices for inventory control and space utilization.

3. Supplier & Vendor Management:

   • Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
   • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with logistics partners.
   • Track vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

   • Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and international trade laws.
   • Handle necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, customs clearance, and transport permits.

5. Cost Optimization & Process Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs through route optimization and bulk transportation.
   • Analyze logistics data and implement strategies for efficiency improvement.
   • Leverage technology and automation to enhance operational effectiveness.

6. Reporting & Coordination:

   • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and cost analysis.
   • Work closely with sales, procurement, and operations teams to align logistics with business goals.
   • Address and resolve logistics issues, such as shipment delays or inventory shortages.
