Visual Merchandiser - Branding & Inshop Execution
Job Description:
Visual Merchandising is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the visual merchandising strategy and execution for a company or retail organization. This position requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand identity, and retail trends, coupled with strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of visual merchandisers and designers. The Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising plays a crucial role in creating captivating and cohesive in-store and online experiences that drive sales and enhance the brand image.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Visual Merchandising Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and retail teams to develop a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy aligned with the brand's objectives. This involves understanding target customers, market trends, and competitor analysis to create innovative and impactful visual displays.
Design and Execution: Lead the design and execution of visual merchandising concepts for all retail locations and online platforms. This includes creating floor plans, window displays, product layouts, signage, and other visual elements to enhance the customer journey and promote sales.
Team Management: Build and manage a team of visual merchandisers and designers, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure the successful implementation of visual merchandising initiatives. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages the development of innovative ideas and designs.
Store Standards and Guidelines: Develop and enforce visual merchandising standards and guidelines to maintain brand consistency across all retail locations. Regularly conduct store visits and audits to assess compliance and provide necessary training and support to ensure adherence to visual merchandising standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, store operations, and retail leadership, to align visual merchandising initiatives with overall business strategies. Effectively communicate the visual merchandising strategy and guidelines to ensure consistent implementation across all channels.
Research and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in visual merchandising and retail design. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Budget Management: Manage the visual merchandising budget, including resource allocation, cost control, and vendor management. Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality visual merchandising standards.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of visual merchandising initiatives, using key metrics and data to evaluate the effectiveness of displays and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Preferred:
We are looking out for a senior matured person as a Visual Merchandiser.
He will have a team of two Assistant Managers (for execution of branding works in the outlets of our channel partners in South India).
These two AMs are already in place.
He should be Just around 40 years of age and not less than 36.
Required experience is minimum 10 years.
Experience in a good building material company supervising Branding and Visual Merchandising activities in the market.
He will be based at the Corporate office in Bommasandra, Electronic City, Bangalore.
He should be from Bangalore and as far as possible, his residence in Bangalore should not be more than 15 kms from Bommasandra.
