Hiring for Sr. Manager- Tactical Purchase for a manufacturing company at Pune

Job Description:

• Materials Planning – Develop and implement strategies to manage materials and purchasing efficiently.

• Data Management – Maintain accurate material and procurement data for smooth operations.

• Order Management – Oversee purchase orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery.

• Supply Chain Planning – Plan monthly and long-term procurement to meet production and sales goals.

• Material Availability – Ensure all necessary materials are available for production and sales.

• Risk Management – Analyze demand trends and identify risks to prevent supply chain disruptions.

• Supplier Relationships – Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for better coordination and efficiency.

• On-Time Deliveries – Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and address any issues proactively.

• Supplier Improvement – Lead projects to enhance supplier performance in cost, delivery, and systems.

• Supplier Payments – Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely payments to suppliers.

• Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with quality, production, finance, and engineering teams for smooth processes.

• Logistics Management – Handle transportation, negotiate freight rates, and manage customs activities.

• Inventory Control – Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet production needs.

• Data Analysis – Analyze procurement data to improve decision-making and report performance insights.

• Compliance – Ensure all purchasing activities follow legal and company regulations, including ISO standards.

• Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office is must.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 & 14001: 2004 Standards is essential.
