The Canvas is a leading Design and Build firm specializing in innovative architectural solutions. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler with a strong architectural background to join our dynamic team. As a BIM Modeler, you will play a critical role in the development of high-quality building designs and project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for architectural projects using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or other industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure models align with design intent and project requirements.
• Ensure models are accurate, coordinated, and meet quality control standards.
• Produce drawings, renderings, and visualizations from BIM models to assist in presentations, approvals, and documentation.
• Review design documents and specifications to ensure compliance with standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in the development of clash detection reports and resolve coordination issues between architectural and other project disciplines.
• Support the preparation of detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions related to BIM and modeling.
• Maintain model data and revisions to ensure up-to-date and consistent information across all project stages.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in the Design and Build industry with a focus on architectural design.
• Proficiency in BIM software, specifically Autodesk Revit (required) and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and building systems.
• Experience with clash detection and BIM coordination tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
•  Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate clearly with project stakeholders.
• Experience in developing accurate construction documentation and visualizations from BIM models.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
