Job Description – Finance Executive (Banking & Working Capital Management)


Position: Finance Executive


Location: Raipur


Industry: Manufacturing / Financial Services / Relevant Industry


Experience: Minimum 3-4 years age btw 31+


CTC: 25-30K Negotiable


Key Responsibilities: A Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in managing financial processes, ensuring
compliance, and overseeing accounting functions. Their responsibilities typically include:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
 Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
 Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
 Provide financial insights for decision-making.
2. General Accounting & Ledger Maintenance
 Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
 Monitor journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
 Ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
 Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
 Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures.
 Provide recommendations for cost control.
4. Taxation & Compliance
 Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings (VAT, GST, corporate tax).
 Prepare tax returns and assist with audits.
 Keep updated on financial regulations and accounting standards.
5. Internal Controls & Audit
 Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
 Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation.
 Improve accounting processes and policies.
6. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
 Oversee AR & AP processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
 Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
 Work with vendors and customers regarding financial matters.
7. Payroll & Expense Management
 Supervise payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
 Review employee reimbursements and company expenses.
 Ensure compliance with labor laws related to payroll.
8. Team Leadership & Coordination
 Guide and mentor junior accountants.
 Coordinate with finance teams, auditors, and management.
 Provide financial training to non-finance employees if needed.
Skills & Qualifications:

 Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, banking correspondence, and credit appraisal.
 Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical skills, and ability to liaise with banks and
stakeholders.
 Education: CA-IPCC, BCOM/MCOM/MBA finance.
