Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• GST Management

  • Calculate, prepare, and file GST returns as per the required schedules.
  • Reconcile GST input and output tax credit, ensuring accuracy in calculations.
  • Monitor GST compliance and ensure timely payment of GST liabilities.
  • Stay updated on GST laws and amendments, making necessary adjustments to processes as required.

• TDS Management

  • Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS as per applicable rates and laws.
  • Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and generation of TDS certificates.
  • Reconcile TDS receivable/payable with books of accounts and coordinate with clients and vendors for compliance.
  • Address any TDS-related queries and resolve discrepancies.

• Return Filing

  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, including GST, TDS, and other relevant returns.
  • Manage documentation and records for all filings to ensure compliance and easy retrieval for audits.
  • Assist in audit preparations and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

• Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and trial balance preparation.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare financial statements, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, as needed.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting.

• Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Generate periodic financial reports to provide insights into financial performance
