Service Engineer cum Coordinator
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Service Engineer cum Coordinator to support the
installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and coordination of after-sales support for Weldy hot air tools
& plastic welding equipment The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical service
delivery and service coordination, ensuring smooth customer experiences and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Service Delivery
Perform maintenance, repair of Weldy tools & welding equipment and Installation & demo, as
and when needed, at customer sites or in-house.
Diagnose technical faults and provide prompt solutions to minimize customer downtime.
Maintain proper documentation of service logs, repairs, and customer feedback.
Service Coordination
Act as the central point of coordination between customers, sales teams, and the service
department.
Schedule and monitor service calls, AMCs, warranty claims, and repair jobs in coordination
with Distriobutor and Dealers
Track and manage spare parts inventory, service tools, and consumables.
Prepare service reports, cost estimates, and customer quotations as required.
Customer Communication
Handle customer queries related to product issues, service timelines, and follow-ups.
Giving Distributors & Dealers Product training and service training
Provide basic technical training and guidance to customers during installations or demos.
Ensure timely closure of service requests and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Internal Coordination
Collaborate with sales and logistics teams for efficient service delivery.
Share field insights and recurring issues with the technical team for continuous product
improvement in collaboration with product manager
Support the team in exhibitions, product demos, and technical seminars when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
4-6 years of experience in a service/technical support role (preferably in industrial power tools
or welding equipment).
Hands-on knowledge of electrical tools, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficient in MS Office, service management software, and report writing.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer-handling skills.
Ability to travel frequently for on-site service support.
Knowledge of Hindi is Mandatory
