Lead Battery Energy Storage System (Manager/Sr Manager), Mumbai

Job Role -

• Develop and lead the design and engineering strategy for the companys BESS battery business in India.

• Lead a team of engineers and designers to develop battery energy storage systems that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design and engineering of BESS battery systems.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and develop new product offerings.

• Develop and manage the engineering budget for the BESS battery business, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the BESS battery systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including government agencies, research institutions, and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  
  12-15 years of experience in the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems, with a focus on lithium-ion battery technology.

• Experience managing a team of engineers and designers, with the ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve results.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in the energy storage industry.
  
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies is a plus.

• Experience working in the Indian market is preferred.
