Job Description:

Production Efficiency:Oversee production equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity, implementing measures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems, ensuring they function correctly and safely.

Health and Safety Compliance:Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, industry standards, and codes throughout the shift, implementing corrective actions when needed.

Team Management:Supervise, motivate, and train the shift team, ensuring effective communication, and allocation of tasks, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Record Keeping and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, production data, and any issues or incidents, and provide reports to supervisors as required.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:Identify and address any mechanical issues or problems that arise during the shift, taking prompt corrective actions and ensuring a minimal disruption to production.

Material Handling:Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of material handling systems including conveyors, feeders, crushers and related equipment.

Quality Control:Participate in quality control procedures, ensuring that the ferro-alloys produced meet quality standards.
