MECHANICAL FOREMAN (FERRO-ALLOYS) - TILDA
Job Description:

Supervision and Coordination:
- Supervise and direct mechanical staff and/or subcontractors involved in ferro-alloy production.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of mechanical staff, providing feedback and training as needed.

Maintenance and Repair:
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, recommending and implementing appropriate repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Safety and Quality:
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, procedures, and standards within the ferro-alloy production facility.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality ferro-alloys.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards or concerns promptly.

Production Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of ferro-alloy production processes, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to production personnel.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and equipment performance.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant technical training or certifications in mechanical maintenance or engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the ferro-alloy or steel industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in ferro-alloy production.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team of mechanical staff.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
