Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in software testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.

Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and UI testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.

Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for process improvement.

Work closely with automation teams to support test automation efforts.

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing.

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.

Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or HP ALM.

Hands-on experience in test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.

Knowledge of database testing using SQL queries.

Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools is a plus.

Exposure to mobile and web application testing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB Certification is a plus.

Experience in Agile methodologies.

Basic knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium is a bonus.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

MBA in IT or a related specialization from a reputed institution is preferred.
