Company Profile
A steel plant, also known as a steel mill or steelworks, is an industrial facility for manufacturing steel, ranging from integrated plants that process iron ore to rolled products to those specializing in semi-finished steel products.
Here's a more detailed look at steel plants:
What they do:
Steel plants are factories that produce steel, which can be done through various processes, including smelting iron ore, making steel from molten pig iron, or using scrap metal.
Types of steel plants:
Integrated steel plants: These plants perform all stages of steel production, from iron ore to finished products.
Semi-finished steel plants: These plants focus on producing semi-finished steel products, such as billets or slabs, from molten pig iron or scrap.
