Job Description:
Purpose of Position
Contribute to business growth by providing technical and commercial expertise toward internal and external stakeholders and align company's product portfolio with local market needs through innovation and market insights in accordance with the global strategy
Key Responsibilities |
- Dealer Network Support and Sales Enablement
- Provide technical and commercial product and market insights to the established dealer network for company Professional (Plastic Welding Machines) and Hot Air Guns in India.
- Conduct product trainings for all existing and new dealers on period basis for product familiarization and usage for company Professional and Hot Air Guns in India.
- Train and develop the local dealer sales force to conduct technical tool demonstrations at end-customers to drive sales.
- Market Understanding and Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct targeted market research to identify customer requirements and trends specific to India.
- Build relationships with stakeholders in key industries to uncover opportunities and specific use cases.
- Leverage regional insights to align product offerings with market needs.
- Product Development and Portfolio Enhancement
- Drive and lead the local product lifecycle, including regional-specific customization, prototyping, testing, and successful commercialization.
- Translate India market needs into portfolio enhancements and innovative designs aligned with company's global strategy through cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure products meet Indian standards while maintaining cost efficiency and performance excellence.
- Market Strategy and Competitive Positioning
- Formulate and execute India-specific market growth strategies to drive penetration in key sectors.
- Monitor competitive activities and identify market gaps to position company's products advantageously.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on regional strategies, including promotional campaigns, dealer incentives, and training programs for dealers and end-users.
- Leverage regional insights to align product offerings with market needs
- Act as the primary communication link between Indian stakeholders and global counterparts, ensuring seamless coordination and strategy execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability as the team scales.
Educational Requirements |
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Management Degree/Diploma preferred).
Professional Requirements |
- Multiple years of proven experience in product management and development, with Indian market familiarity.
- Proven success in handling products for industrial applications with a track record of region-specific launches.
- Hands-on knowledge of tools and machines used in industrial setting sold through Indian's dealer ecosystem.
- Solid grasp of economic and commercial factors, effectively applied in business.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making for the Indian market.
- Effective project management and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on regional networks.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving market-specific challenges, especially in cost-sensitive markets.
- Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in India’s dynamic industrial landscape.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with Indian distributors, dealers, and end-users.
- Familiarity with local regulations, standards, and compliance for industrial products in India.

- Fluency in both Hindi and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in both languages.
- Experience working in an international environment, with an understanding of cross-cultural dynamics.
