📌 Job Description – Project Head (DRI – 350 TPD)

Location: Tilda, Raipur (C.G.)
Industry: Integrated Steel / Sponge Iron Plant

🔹 Position: Project Head – DRI

🔹 Capacity: 350 TPD

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire project execution of a 350 TPD DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant from planning to commissioning.

• Prepare detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for timely project execution.

• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety, and environmental norms.

• Monitor erection, installation, and commissioning activities of major equipment like kilns, coolers, ESP, pollution control systems, raw material handling, and waste heat recovery systems (WHRB).

• Drive procurement and contract management for project-related materials and services.

• Review and approve engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents.

• Ensure statutory approvals and liaison with government authorities as required.

• Lead a cross-functional project team and report project progress to management.

• Post-commissioning: ensure smooth handover to Operations Team with complete documentation.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical ).

• Minimum 20–30 years of experience in the steel industry with at least 15+ years in DRI plant project execution (350 TPD & above kilns).

• Proven track record of handling Greenfield / Brownfield projects in Sponge Iron / DRI.

• Strong knowledge of project management tools, safety standards, and cost control.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team management ability.

• Excellent coordination with multiple stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of DRI plant technology and process.

• Ability to handle high-pressure project timelines.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
