Job Description:

Familiarity with medical equipment regulations / Familiarity with procurement software and systems like SAP, ERP, & other medical supply chain platforms.

  1. Supply Chain Management, Business Administration Healthcare Management, Logistics, Public Health Pharmacy

 

  1. Professional Certifications:

Certified Medical Supply Chain Professional (CMSCP) (specific to healthcare procurement).

Certified Healthcare Supply Chain Professional (CHSP) for those in healthcare sectors.

ISO Certification or similar may also be helpful, particularly in quality management for medical procurement.

 

  1. Experience:

Experience in Procurement: At least 6-8 years in procurement(Domestic & Import Note-Import and Export Knowledge must require) or supply chain roles, preferably within healthcare settings. Knowledge of Medical Equipment and Supplies: Familiarity with the specific needs and regulatory standards for medical products.                                            

Vendor Management: Experience in working with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Experience in managing procurement budgets and ensuring cost-effective purchasing.

 

  1. Skills:

Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations: Familiarity with medical equipment regulations, standards, and compliance (e.g., FDA regulations, ISO standards).

Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements.

Attention to Detail:

Ensuring the quality and compliance of medical products. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to evaluate suppliers and products, and solve procurement-related issues.                                                                                     

Import and Export Knowledge must required.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicating with internal teams, suppliers, and healthcare professionals.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software and systems like SAP, ERP, & other medical supply chain platforms.  

 

  1. Additional Skills (Preferred):

Knowledge of inventory management and logistics.

Familiarity with supply chain risk management in healthcare settings.
