Job Description:
A Control Room Operator (CRO) monitors and manages facility operations (power, manufacturing, security) via control panels/systems, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance by responding to alarms, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with field teams, and documenting data, requiring vigilance, problem-solving, and strong communication under pressure. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring: Continuously watch control panels, SCADA systems, CCTV, and other software for normal operations and anomalies.
  • Control & Adjustments: Start/stop equipment, adjust settings, and implement procedures to optimize processes.
  • Alarm Response: React quickly to alerts, diagnose issues, and take corrective actions.
  • Coordination: Communicate with field operators, maintenance, and emergency services for issue resolution.
  • Documentation: Log operational data, incidents, and maintain accurate records.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and system failures.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication.
  • Education: High school diploma; technical certifications often required.
