HR Business Partner
Job Description:
BASIC PURPOSE:
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for executing the Human Capital (People) Strategy for all Cross Country India staff. Implement people and organizational solutions from an enterprise viewpoint and measure/monitor the needs of employees through effectively building and developing relationships across all levels within the organization. The HR Business Partner will utilize diagnostics to address and understand organizational dynamics to align with the business environment, implement and refine long and short-term continuous improvement activities while managing the day-to-day tactical issues and requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and Implement HR strategies to address changing business needs and objectives.
- Attend/participate in internal client’s (assigned business line) staff meetings to provide guidance and bring insight to HR projects and HR perspectives to better understand the group and provide superior service.
- Assess the talent needs of the business and create SMART plans to identify, acquire and develop the next generation of leaders. Facilitate succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
- Utilize HR tools & metrics to diagnose and address chronic long-term challenges to the business and manage day-to-day issues.
- Partner with HR team and leadership to formulate business plans, staffing objectives and human resource guidelines for enterprise.
- Play a key role with leadership to assist in organizational modeling and change management initiatives.
- Build, Launch and manage both new and current tools, processes, and experiences to drive higher levels of employee engagement and satisfaction across Cross Country India.
- Conduct research and analysis on organizational trends including review of reports and metrics and developing appropriate measures and actions based on findings
- Collect data to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement, including but not limited to surveys, focus groups and 1-1 interviews.
- Reporting & Data Management - Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to leadership, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs), project completion rates, and process compliance
- Evaluates the relationship between HR initiatives and indicators such as the turnover rates to adjust strategies accordingly
- Support the development of career roadmaps and learning opportunities for job families. Conduct competency reviews, skill assessments and compensation analyses.
- Provide leadership with ongoing consultation on performance management tools and solutions.
- Work with leaders to implement targeted training solutions as needed.
- Provide leadership and employee coaching for the resolution on employee relations issues, career counseling, etc. Conduct employee investigations where required.
- Conduct new hire orientation and champion corporate initiatives.
- Provide guidance to leadership staff with counseling and terminations.
- Participate in and lead HR projects where assigned.
- Align policies, procedures and practices with the enterprise-wide goals and initiatives
- Report to HR Leadership and provide decision support through metrics and concise reports
- All other duties as assigned.
POSITION SCOPE:
Responsible for assisting assigned business function, while providing leadership and counsel to senior leaders across the enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 – 7 years Proven experience as an HR Business Partner and similar HR role in multiple disciplines (Employee Relations, Training, Culture, Organizational, Development, etc.), ideally within a fast paced, dynamic environment. Two plus years’ leadership experience and evidence of interaction and influence with senior leadership preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Experience in organizational development, change management, and talent management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong reporting (Excel, Powerpoint), analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in HR software and tools.
- Maintains confidentiality. Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Shows initiative and handles assignments with minimal supervision.
- Works collaboratively with others — a team player.

WORK CONDITIONS:
- Environment: Primarily office-based with potential for on-site delivery and floor support. Must be comfortable learning, training, and engaging with others both in-person and virtually through Microsoft Teams.
- Equipment: Use of standard office equipment, including laptops, computers, and presentation tools. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and LMS platforms is essential.
