Job Description:

• Designation – Bodyshop Manager / Asst. Bodyshop Manager
• Work Timings – 9:00am to 6:00pm
• Working Days – Mon to Sat
• Work Location – Taleigao , Margao

• Qualification – Degree or diploma in Automobile /Mechanical Engineering

Job description in detail:

• Maintain quality repairs through quality control inspection & implementation of standardized processes and systems.
• Ensure availability of approved tools and equipment for body repairs.
• Prepare maintenance records for every equipment.
• Ensure all vehicle repairs are completed for delivery at the promised delivery time.
• Ensure utilization & maintenance of body repair equipment like Paint boot Plastic Repair/ PDRS (Paint less Dent Removal System), Plasma Cutters, MIG m/cs, Cordless tools for fast and low cost repairs.
• Ensure the planned preventive maintenance of tools/equipment.
• Ensure availability of required enablers  for smooth body repair operations (tools,/equipments/consumables like paints etc.) at all the times
• Manpower training, utilization and work deployment monitoring
• Implement  efficient body repair operations (reduce vehicle turnaround time by reducing the causes of idle time and job stoppages)
• Analyze repeat jobs (internal & external) and implement countermeasures for improvement.
• Ensure complete protection of spare parts/Transmission/ Compressor/ etc. from damage, dust entry etc.
• Implement vehicle tracking system.
• Maintain mutual understanding & working with the insurance companies & monitor recovery of the claims from the insurance companies.
• Monitor the CCE efficiency and take actions for improvement to ensure quality of PRF calling in the body shop (taken care by CCM/Bodyshop Manager)
• Audit of vehicle repair files (document), before start of repairs & after completion of repairs before dispatch to insurance companies.
• Coordination with spare parts team to ensure parts inventory as per Bodyshop consumption and procurement of any critical parts requirement.
• Ensure 5S in the Bodyshop and timely scrap disposal system.
• Identify focus areas in the Bodyshop and take improvement actions.
• Prioritize working in a safe environment for Bodyshop staff (implement safety standards & procedures in the Bodyshop).
