Data operator
Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Data Operator cum Senior Typist to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our
systems, as well as performing high-level typing and clerical duties. This role requires a high degree
of attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Management:
o Accurately enter and update data in various databases and systems.
o Verify and correct data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
o Maintain and manage client letters and document files.
- Typing and Clerical Duties:
o Perform high-speed typing tasks (Marathi & English), including preparing reports,
correspondence, and other documents.
o Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
o Prepare and format documents according to company standards.
- Administrative Support:
o Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and copying
documents.
o Schedule appointments and manage calendars for the department.
o Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Data Quality Assurance:
o Regularly review data for discrepancies and inconsistencies.
o Collaborate with other team members to resolve data-related issues.
o Implement data quality improvement initiatives.
- Confidentiality and Compliance:
o Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
o Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data management.
o Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in data handling.
Qualifications:
- Education:
o Batchlor of Arts, High school diploma or equivalent required.
o Additional certification in data entry, typing, or related fields is a plus.
- Experience:
o 5-7years of experience in data entry, typing, or administrative roles.
o Experience with data management systems and software.
- Skills:
o Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook).
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Good written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with standard working hours.
- May require occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Work involves long periods of sitting and typing.
