Job Description:
Automation Skills:
- Programming & Tools: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Shell Scripting, Selenium WebDriver for UI automation, and TestNG/JUnit for end-to-end test automation.
- Experience with Maven for project build and dependency management.
- Database - Understanding of writing select queries and understanding of inner and outer joins. Good Knowledge DB with RDBMS (PostgreSQL / Oracle SQL)
- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git operations: raising pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, and reviewing changes.
- API Testing: Understanding of REST APIs and their testing techniques.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins for automation of builds and deployments.
- Comfortable with Windows / Linux CLI and SSH / SFTP tooling (PuTTY, FileZilla, WinSCP)
- Ability to work within and contribute enhancements to existing automation framework
- Understanding of Maven dependency management, CLI, and build lifecycle
- Experience simulating and validating RESTful APIs using RestAssured and Postman
- Experience with Git, BitBucket, JIRA for source control, code review, and issue tracking
