Job Description:
A store manager oversees daily retail operations to ensure smooth function, profitability, and excellent customer experiencesKey responsibilities include managing staff (hiring, training, motivating), controlling inventory, developing sales strategies, creating a welcoming store environment, resolving customer complaints, ensuring compliance with safety and health standards, and managing budgets. They act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and frontline employees, driving sales goals and maintaining store appearance. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: 
    Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate employees to foster a positive and productive work environment. Motivate the sales team to achieve sales objectives. 
     
  • Customer Service: 
    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and set service standards for staff. 
     
  • Inventory & Merchandising: 
    Manage stock levels, oversee ordering and replenishment, conduct regular inventory counts, and ensure the store is well-presented and organized with appealing displays. 
     
  • Sales & Business Development: 
    Analyze sales data, set performance goals, develop strategies to drive sales and increase profitability, and plan in-store promotions and events. 
     
  • Operations & Compliance: 
    Oversee daily operations, cash handling, and loss prevention measures. Ensure the store complies with health, safety, and company policies. 
     
  • Financial Management: 
    Manage store budgets, monitor expenses, and generate financial reports to assess performance and profitability.
