A Supervisor (Admin & Logistics) oversees the daily operations of an organization's logistics and administrative functionsThis role involves managing teams, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring efficient processes across the supply chain. They are responsible for tasks such as inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, as well as administrative duties like managing budgets, overseeing office operations, and handling procurement. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Management:
    • Supervising and coordinating the movement of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments. 
       
    • Managing inventory levels, optimizing stock turnover, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. 
       
    • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 
       
    • Overseeing transportation of goods, negotiating rates, and managing relationships with carriers. 
       
    • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and materials. 
       
  • Administrative Management:
    • Managing administrative staff and overseeing office operations. 
       
    • Developing and managing budgets for administration and logistics. 
       
    • Handling procurement and vendor management. 
       
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. 
       
  • Team Management and Communication:
    • Supervising and providing guidance to logistics and administrative staff. 
       
    • Conducting performance evaluations and providing training. 
       
    • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and coordinate activities. 
       
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identifying areas for improvement in logistics and administrative processes. 
       
    • Implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. 
       
    • Analyzing logistics data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for optimization. 
       
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
