Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mining Supervisor to oversee daily mining operations and ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity. The Mining Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of miners, coordinating equipment use, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in underground or surface mining operations.

Monitor production output and ensure that daily targets and schedules are met.

Ensure compliance with mine safety standards, company policies, and environmental regulations.

Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Assist in planning and scheduling of mining activities.

Inspect work areas and equipment for hazards and implement corrective actions as needed.

Maintain accurate production and safety records and prepare reports for management.

Train new employees and provide ongoing support and feedback to the team.

Communicate effectively with other departments, including maintenance, engineering, and safety teams.
