Job Description:
    • Sourcing and Supplier Selection:
      Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with key vendors. 
       
    • Procurement:
      Managing the entire purchasing process, from placing orders to receiving goods, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy. 
       
    • Inventory Management:
      Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and costs. 
       
    • Quality Control:
      Ensuring that all procured goods meet the required quality standards and specifications, especially for organic and ready-to-eat products. 
       
    • Cost Management:
      Analyzing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and negotiating favorable pricing with suppliers. 
       
    • Compliance:
      Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies. 
       
    • Collaboration:
      Working with various internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and sales, to align purchasing strategies with business needs. 
       
    • Reporting:
      Maintaining accurate records of purchases, costs, and inventory levels, and preparing reports for management. 
       
    Specific Considerations for Organic and Ready-to-Eat Food:
     
    • Organic Certification:
      Ensuring that all organic ingredients meet the relevant certifications and standards. 
       
    • Supply Chain Management:
      Managing the complex supply chain for organic and ready-to-eat products, including sourcing, processing, and distribution. 
       
    • Shelf Life:
      Understanding the shelf life of ready-to-eat products and managing inventory accordingly. 
       
    • Quality and Safety:
      Implementing rigorous quality control measures to ensure the safety and quality of both organic and ready-to-eat products. 
       
    • Ingredient Sourcing:
      Understanding the unique sourcing requirements for different organic and ready-to-eat products, such as finding reliable suppliers for specific ingredients or processing methods.
