Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of mechanical and structural components for water and wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with steel structures, piping systems, skid-mounted units, and pressure vessels used in industrial water treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise fabrication activities for water and wastewater treatment systems as per engineering drawings and quality standards
• Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to understand project specifications and execution plans
• Oversee welding, cutting, fitting, and assembly of MS/SS tanks, frames, pipe racks, and skids
• Inspect raw materials and fabricated parts for compliance with quality standards
• Maintain project timelines and allocate manpower effectively on the shop floor and at sites
• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, materials, and components
• Prepare and maintain daily production and progress reports
• Monitor adherence to safety protocols and fabrication SOPs
• Work with vendors and subcontractors when required for outsourced components
• Ensure final fabricated systems are ready for testing, painting, and dispatch

Requirements:
• ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in fabrication for water treatment, process plants, or piping-heavy industries
• Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, welding techniques (TIG, MIG, ARC), and materials (MS, SS304, SS316)
• Ability to supervise a team of fitters, welders, and helpers
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pump-mounting, and skid layout preferred
• Willingness to travel to project sites if required
• Working knowledge of quality control processes and safety compliance
