Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Expert with a strong background in Suzlon wind turbine generators (WTGs) to lead technical operations, performance optimization, and engineering activities. Candidate shall have
8–10 years of experience, particularly in WTG testing, commissioning, operation, and engineering design and support, with a focus on building in-house capabilities for Engineering & operations.

1. Suzlon WTG Technical Expertise and Optimization
 Lead performance analysis and optimization of Suzlon WTG models including S144.
 Analyze of SCADA data, fault codes, and software fault records to drive fault resolution and improve turbine availability and performance.
 Conduct advanced diagnostics, RCA, and performance audits to address underperformance and technical issues.
 Collaborate with central teams to improve output across the Suzlon fleet using data-driven insights.
 Offering technical solutions to overcome technical challenges occurring in WTGs.
 Leading and partnering for Technical due diligence of new wind turbine technologies and models.

2. Engineering Support and Reliability
 Provide engineering support for Suzlon turbines, ensuring mechanical and electrical systems meet reliability standards.
 Oversee major component replacements and retrofits in coordination with OEM guidelines and field feedback.
 Lead turbine audits, review ECNs, and implement design modifications as required for field performance improvement.
 Validate technical documentation including MTCs, QAPs, and commissioning reports for existing and upcoming projects.

3. Self Capability Building
 Drive internal capability development for Engineering & operations, reducing reliance on third parties, OEM services.
 Develop SOPs, process manuals, and troubleshooting guides tailored to Suzlon turbine systems.
 Train internal O&M teams in SCADA interpretation, fault diagnostics, and software usage for Suzlon platforms.

 Lead knowledge transfer programs to ensure consistent in-house competency across technical teams.

4. Vendor and Supply Chain Integration
 Manage procurement and vendor evaluation processes through SAP or equivalent portal for Suzlon turbine-specific materials and services.
 Define technical specifications and support material planning for both new installations and operational sites.
 Oversee quality control and logistics for material dispatches during commissioning and stabilization phases.

5. Collaboration and Compliance
 Liaise across engineering, asset management, operations, and procurement teams to align technical and business objectives.
 Conduct audits and technical reviews to ensure adherence to WTGs safety, compliance, and performance standards.
 Contribute to the digital transformation of operational workflows, including SCADA integration and performance dashboards.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
 8–10 years of experience in the wind energy sector, with a strong focus on Suzlon WTGs.
 Hands-on experience in WTG testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance engineering.
 Proficient in Suzlon SCADA systems, fault interpretation, and software-based diagnostic tools.
 Strong analytical, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
