Job Description:

Sales-Support Engineer – SIEMENS Automation, PLC, VFD & Electrical Panels

Location: Bangalore

Reporting Office: Bangalore

Experience: 2-3 years

Qualification:  BE in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)  OR Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or NTTF Mechatronics

Job Responsibilities:  Sales & Support for SIEMENS Automation, PLC, VFD, and Electrical Panels in the assigned region.

 Develop and maintain relationships with clients in Bellary, Hospet, and Chitradurga areas.

 Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and support customers with application-based solutions.

 Coordinate with the Bagalkot office for sales operations, quotations, and order fulfillment.

 Work closely with the technical team for troubleshooting and after-sales support.

 Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Skills Required:  Knowledge of SIEMENS Automation, PLC, and VFD.

 Hands-on experience with electrical panels and industrial automation.

 Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Preferred Experience:  2 to 3 years in sales and technical support of industrial automation products.

 Experience working with electrical panels, drives, and PLC programming.

 

Job Summary:

The Sales Support Specialist will assist the sales team in promoting and selling Siemens Automation products, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and Electrical Panels. This role involves providing technical support, preparing sales materials, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and the sales team. This includes answering technical queries, troubleshooting issues, and offering product recommendations.
  • Sales Assistance: Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations. Ensure all sales materials are up-to-date and accurately reflect product specifications.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their needs, provide updates on orders, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest Siemens Automation products and technologies. Attend training sessions and workshops as required.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and technical support provided. Ensure all documentation is organized and easily accessible.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering and customer service, to ensure seamless support and delivery of products.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical sales support role, preferably with Siemens products.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and Electrical Panels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
