Job Description

    1. Business Analytics (APAC)

    Under the guidance of the Area Commercial Director, the Commercial Excellence Specialist will be responsible for the following actions to enhance Area-level commercial execution:

    • Create/maintain/update commercial execution dashboards that support Global and Area-level reporting cadence
    • Generate initial insights of key trends that feed into monthly review cadence led by Area Commercial Director
    • Create and maintain list of action items arising out of Area Commercial Director-led monthly reviews with Country General Managers
    • Support Country General Managers in ad-hoc requests for KPI tracking and insights, based on Global or Area Leadership ask
    • Maintain and enhance current dashboards to incorporate best-in-class design to deliver insights more effectively and efficiently
    • Provide guidance to commercial leadership on ways to measure and build tracking systems in support of new or evolving Divisional KPI requirements
    • Be first line-of-contact with Division Global Commercial Operations team on technical aspects of data management to support Division KPI tracking requirements  

    1. Commercial Excellence (SEAHaWK)

    The incumbent will support the Area General Manager, South Asia, in the following ways:

    • Tracking of all Global/Area/Country-level commercial execution KPIs
    • Ensure timely preparation and communication of relevant dashboards/reports to Area GM and Business Managers in line with reporting cadence
    • Data and insights that feed into monthly Demand forecasting process
    • LBE and Management Business Review preparation
    • Channel performance related KPI reporting and Distributor Life Cycle Management (DLMF) compliance work (see details in #4)
    • Data analysis and insights in support of Gross Margin Improvement initiatives

    1. Salesforce Administrator (APAC)

    Under the guidance of the Commercial Director, APAC and working with ComEx leaders/ SMEs in-country as well as Divisional GCO SF program team, manage and maintain:

    • APAC Account Master
    • Account/Rep to territory alignment
    • Price books
    • Lead management – routing and queue maintenance
    • Sales operation support cases
    • Sales use on-boarding/off-boarding
    • User roles and permissions
    • Case queue management
    • Lead/contact mass upload
    • Regional reports/dashboards

    1. Distributor Lifecycle Management Framework (DLMF) Administration (SEAHaWK)

    Under the guidance of the Area General Manager, South Asia and/or Commercial Director, APAC work Country Business Managers to provide administrative support in the following areas:

    • Preparation and screening of Business Case for new Distributor appointments
    • Maintenance of approval routing log to ensure approval timeliness
    • Upload/update of supporting documentation onto and within SIMCO!
    • Collation and reporting of Quarterly KPIs
    • Implementation of DLMF process improvements

    1. Sales Incentive Compensation Program (SICP) Management (SEAHaWK)

    Under the guidance of the Commercial Director, APAC and working with Country GMs and ComEx leaders, provide administrative support in the following areas:

    • Collation, validation and verification of Quarterly sales incentive calculations received from Country ComEx teams
    • Update of sales team hierarchy changes; communication with Global ComEx team
    • Implementation of SICP process improvements 

    1. Customer Experience Program (APAC)

    Under the guidance of the Commercial Director, APAC and working with Country GMs and ComEx leaders, provide administrative support in the following areas:

    • Management of Quarterly Customer Engagement Surveys, including maintenance of survey customer master
    • Open action follow-up and coordination to ensure timely case closes
    • Implementation of Global CEP program or designated pilots within APAC

    1. Other ComEx program implementations (APAC)

    Under the guidance of the Commercial Director, APAC and working with Country GMs and ComEx leaders, provide administrative support in the following areas:

    • Data Loss and Protection case management-related initiatives
    Other business projects defined by Area General Managers or Area Commercial

Candidate Profile Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ working experience with at 5 years in a business analytics or business intelligence role.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or related areas
  • Proven experience in building tracking mechanisms, generating commercial insights and driving stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in project management and management reporting
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • IT skills:

ERP: SAP, CRM, Salesforce; high proficiency in MS Office apps (Excel, Word, PPT, Access) and Power BI

  • Preferred experience: Diagnostics or Medical Device (not critical)
