Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote bioprocess products and solutions in the Baddi and Chandigarh region.

  • Identify and engage with pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and research clients in the territory.

  • Conduct technical and commercial discussions with clients, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Collaborate with application scientists and technical teams for client demonstrations, trials, and training sessions.

  • Regularly follow up on leads, quotations, and tenders to ensure timely closure.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide inputs for product and business strategy.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics through CRM and other reporting tools.


Requirements:

Education:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.

  • MBA in Marketing or Business Management (preferred for Assistant Manager level).

Experience:

  • 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in Business Development / Sales of Bioprocess, Life Sciences, or Biotech equipment and consumables.

  • Exposure to handling clients in the Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh region is desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding of bioprocess solutions (e.g., fermenters, bioreactors, filtration systems, chromatography, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting systems.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the territory.
