Senior Manager / Manager Legal – B&I (Buildings & Infrastructure) Mumbai
Job Description:
Responsible for managing and resolving disputes, representing the company in legal proceedings, both in court and
through arbitration, and providing strategic legal advice to minimize risks and ensure compliance with laws and
regulations.
Responsibilities
Handling and management of Court litigation pending court filed by and against TPL
Handling and management of arbitration matters filed by and against TPL (this includes travelling to attend to
these matters/ briefing lawyers).
Legal evaluation of risk in the tender documents / Hard Red Lines
Review, drafting and negotiation of MoUs, agreements, NDAs, JV agreements, Pre bid agreement etc.
Negotiating and finalizing Work Orders and agreements / General conditions with several vendors to support
SCM Team
Drafting of responses to the legal notices including the issuance of legal notices including contractual letters
Preparing MIS and other case update sheets monthly
Other incidental works like legal research of judgments, the printing of pleadings for filing in the Court or
before the Arbitrator.
