Position:        Production Chemist (DCS Plant)

Location:       Mehsana  

Experience:    1 - 2 Years

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Distributed Control System (DCS) to monitor and control plant processes and equipment in real time.
• Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations by responding promptly to alarms and abnormal conditions.
• Continuously monitor process parameters and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimum performance and product quality.
• Coordinate with field operators and other departments during startups, shutdowns, and routine or emergency operations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of DCS-related issues and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams for resolution.
• Document operational data accurately, prepare shift reports, and log all significant events and deviations.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and participate in control system updates or upgrades when required.
• Take part in safety meetings, emergency drills, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational discipline in the control room and associated work areas.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in DCS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB, etc.
• Understanding of process control principles, quality and safety standards, and emergency procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech - Chemistry/Chemical

Salary:- Upto 3.50 LPA
