Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive top-line, market share and bottom-line targets for the division; Accountable for forecasting business planning and sales force organization
  • Maintain control of operating budget, delivering on both top line and bottom line
  • Drive market access projects and initiatives to increase spread of products in public markets; undertake extensive fieldwork to capture insights and find new opportunities for growth
  • Establish relations with government institutes and corporate hospitals to drive products inclusions, and execute policy and tender shaping initiatives
  • Drive increased market access for high-quality products at lower rates to benefit public at large
  • Setup and manage internal processes and effectively collaborate with across multiple business divisions and other cross functional stakeholders for buy-in of strategies
  • Actively drive engagement with sales team - conduct CSMs, monthly reviews and other meetings to drive business and motivation
  • Ensure quality and timely execution of tender applications, and delivery of supplies of orders to institutes
  • Effectively coordinate with other functional areas within organization e.g. Government Affairs, Supply Chain, Medical, Regulatory, OEC, Finance etc.
  • Ability to drive insights and decisions basis data, including pricing strategies of tenders to increase win%

 

Skill, Education, Experience 

 

Education:

Graduate in Science / Pharmacy.

MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing

 

Experience:

  • 15-20 years of experience across Sales, Marketing in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry
  • 2-3 years of experience as a business leader independently handling a successful portfolio
  • 4-5 years of experience in managing Government tender business and corporate hospitals business; including market access and policy shaping
  • Established network with Central and state Government institutes and Key Opinion Leaders

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Growth Mindset to drive transformational growth in this business over the next 2-3 years
  • Demonstrates creativity, innovation and drive for results
  • Ability to influence, lead and work with cross functional teams
  • Analytical skills and good Financial Acumen
