Job Description: Accounts and Finance - Executive/Sr. Executive

Position: Executive/Sr. Executive - Accounts and Finance
Location: Borivali, Mumbai
Department: Accounts and Finance

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Purchase and Expense Bill Booking: Ensure accurate recording and validation of purchase and expense bills.
  2. Import Invoice Booking: Handle import invoice booking and possess basic knowledge of BRC (Bank Realization Certificate), BOE (Bill of Entry), and Shipping Bills.
  3. Statutory Compliance: Maintain compliance with GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements.
  4. Form 15 CA/CB Preparation: Assist in preparing and filing Form 15 CA/CB for foreign remittances.
  5. Ledger Scrutiny & Expense Analysis: Conduct periodic ledger scrutiny and perform detailed expense analysis.
  6. Vendor Ledger Reconciliation: Ensure timely reconciliation of vendor accounts and address discrepancies.
  7. Fund Planning & Analysis: Prepare and analyze fund flow statements to support financial planning.
  8. Payment Processing: Process vendor and internal payments efficiently while maintaining compliance.
  9. Coordination & Follow-up: Work closely with internal and external teams for financial data accuracy and reporting.
  10. MIS Reporting: Prepare and maintain various Management Information System (MIS) reports for departmental and HOD review.
  11. Audit Assistance: Assist in preparing data for statutory, tax, and internal audits.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Master’s in Commerce (M.Com) / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems).
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with import invoice booking and banking documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • Experience in managing fund flow and financial planning.
  • Exposure to audit processes and regulatory filings.

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard working hours.
  • Occasional extended hours during audit and financial closing periods.
