Job Description:

 Position:         Paint Shop Manager

Location:          Pune

Experience:      8 - 10 Years

Industries:      Automobile

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the body paint department.
  • Coordinate with production planning to schedule paint jobs efficiently.
  • Ensure the timely completion of paint jobs to meet production targets.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of paint equipment and tools.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes to achieve high-quality paint finishes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of painted bodies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to prevent rework.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled team of paint technicians and support staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed within the body paint department.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for team members.
  • Investigate and address any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the body paint department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to optimize paint application processes.
  • Materials Management:
  • Monitor and manage inventory of paint supplies and materials.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Optimize material usage to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of paint jobs, quality inspections, and inventory.
  • Generate regular reports on department performance and key metrics.
  • Communicate updates and findings to senior management.
  • Environmental Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to paint processes.
  • Implement environmentally friendly practices and technologies where possible.

Required Skills:

  • Fluent communication skills in English & local language.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple calls efficiently.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 10.00 LPA
