Job Description:
  • Create a safe working environment to ensure zero incidents
  • Roll out Guidelines and provide direction for developing culture of behavioral safety. Changing the mindset and preparing Team to adopt World Class Safety Culture
  • Develop a culture of Standardization in all aspect of work level from Documentation to execution.
  • Adopt and deploy Lean Manufacturing practices to reduce Waste, enhance 5S level, achieve higher productivity
  • Train and develop team to deploy various Problem-solving skills for root cause analysis of chronic failures.
  • Ensure zero non conformity under various Audits and compliances.
  • Deploy Best practices in the field to ensure zero-line losses thereby ensuring zero defects.
  • Ensure internal/external Customers need are met while maintaining quality standards intact
  • Ensure implementation of ABG Standards
  • Prepare Strategies for Zero Production losses by enhancing system protection level (Relay coordination, relay setting, Transformer healthiness, Building/asset protection) and managing redundancy
  • Develop Strategies to improve the efficiency of Electrical power supply system.
  • Introduce new Preventive & Predictive Techniques to ensure maximum availability of all Electrical Equipment’s.
  • Plan and direct team to Prepare Annual PM Planner / Schedule with shutdown planning for carrying out preventive maintenance.
  • Review internal and external Customer needs, and prioritize the action plan accordingly
  • Develop plan to Improve the MTTR & MTBF of all critical electrical equipment’s to ensure trouble free smooth operation of process
  • Prepare long term action plan for channelizing Future Business needs
  • Ensure Optimum resource utilization thereby reducing spares and repairing cost
  • Formulate a cost effective practically applicable budget schemes to ensure Work services are met.
  • Create awareness for cost saving and deploy small term and long term cost saving initiatives
  • Reduction in the operational maintenance cost by developing in house capabilities of Team
  • Identification of training needs for the team members and ensure the training needs are imparted thus building competencies in team members.
  • Appraise, inspires and stimulates subordinates to maximize their performance towards departmental goals.
  • Recruit and select right candidate. Ensure smooth transition/onboarding of new employee with focused efforts.
  • Spend qualitative time (once a month) in feedback and development with my team.
  • Discuss & co-create MDP for 2-3 development areas with each team member and drive fulfilment (training, cross team/functional projects, on the job learnings etc.) & completion by year end.
  • Create avenues of tacit knowledge transfer in the team
  • Identification of training needs for the team members and ensure the training needs are imparted thus building competencies in team members.
  • Recruit and select right candidate. Ensure smooth transition/onboarding of new employee with focused efforts.
  • Ensure smooth department functioning with adequate manpower and manage smooth operation of department as per defined SOP
  • Prepare long term and short-term plans to reduce waste, optimize resource usage
  • Develop waste reduction techniques, contribute in organization targets of reducing water consumption, zero discharge
  • Contribute in the Organizational goals for energy saving, water saving, and reduce emissions
  • Develop Eco friendly maintenance practices.
  • Introduce Energy Efficient products and deploy energy efficient strategies/services
